Getting wrapped up in games is one thing, but now Lionhead Studios, makers of Fable 2, are looking to put you literally into the game. They are calling for players of Fable to submit pictures of themselves in a contest between now and June 4th to be made into ingame artwork. Now I for one would kill to have a Mandifesto portrait placed into the home of a nobleman (and let's face it, I doubt the nobleman would object) so I am totally entering.
Since I first saw this story yesterday the actual article seems to have been moved on the Lionhead Studios website, so I will instead quote someone quoting them:
All you have to do is send in a picture of yourself in suitable artistic pose. Think old master, royal portraits or even the Mona Lisa! Dress up as an old or modern hero, go out to the countryside and find yourself a deer to shoot (not recommended) or just strike a suiting pose in front of an open fire. The thing that would make it even better is if you were to act out an expression from the original Fable.
Sounds pretty groovy eh? If you were going to be placed into an RPG as background artwork, which game would you choose? Even better, send us your (fully clothed) submissions to the Fable 2 contest, and we'll make sure you're immortalized here at omgRPG. And really, isn't that just about the same thing?[via Next Gen]
