Have you ever thought to yourself, "Self, I keep hearing about this World of Warcraft game, from all my friends and relatives and Beros, maybe it would be fun to give it a shot?" and then immediately turned out your pockets to reveal nothing but lint and moths like in an old black and white Charlie Chaplin film?

Well GamePro has your back, guys and gals. They love you (in a purely platonic way), and want you to have a chance to experience the war that is currently raging between the Alliance and the Horde across the world of Azeroth. Head over to GamePro.com and click on any of their attractively animated banner ads proclaiming "10 Day Free Trial" and you will be directed to a site where you can download, well, a 10 Day Free Trial. No money needed, the system requirements are quite low, and you can spend a little over a week slaughtering monsters and other players to your hearts content.

Plus, you will be supporting GamePro by clicking on their ads, which should make you feel all warm and squishy inside.

(Dont worry, it eventually goes away.)

UPDATE: Seems GamePro waited for me to put this post up, and then switched the site to D&D Insider ads! I feel so betrayed, and look every bit the fool... but at least they are still RPG related advertisements. ^_^;;

UPDATE 2: As it turns out, the WoW Ad is set to only show up first three times per day that a particular browser visits the site. If you want to take advantage of this offer and youve already spent time on GamePro today, hit it up tomorrow or open up a different browser.

Curse you, AdBlock, and your ad blocking ways! People want their free stuff!

As it turns out, I found out that the reason I don't see the WoW 10 Day Trial ads anymore is because that specific ad is set to only show up 3 times per day per viewer. So they are still in circulation, I just wont see them until tomorrow.

Doesn't make me feel any less the fool, though...
