Lyaksandr Prelle-Tworek via World of Raids
Well, it's Tuesday morning, and WoW Players have a short server reset to look forward to. Only a few realms will be experiencing extended maintenance, and for you we have a couple of stories to chew over while you wait it out.
* Over on World of Raids they've posted one of the entries in the Frostmourne contest, made into a wallpaper. I never knew Arthas could look so pretty. Here's the full-size [1500x 870] wallpaper for you to enjoy.
More World of Warcraft news after the jump.
* Well, it's official, WoW has officially peaked, at least according to the Bushnell Threshold. What might that be, you ask? Well, Nolan Bushnell, gaming figurhead and father of a couple of strapping, game-playing sons, watches his kids to find out when games loose their cool factor. Evidently the Bushnell boys are over WoW, and therefore the game has passed the Bushnell Threshold. What's the next game to be set up against said Threshold? We'll have to wait and see.
* Megashira of the Hellfire realm has posted an excellent breakdown detailing everything you need to know about playing the WoW PvP battlegrounds. Posted on the European forums, Megashira's guide breaks the battle down into phases, and even provides some great advice for BG leaders. Finally someone puts battleground tactics into small, meaningful chunks.
