It's been a long time coming, but we can now announce the winners of the omgRPG Back to School with Disgaea 3 Contest. I have to apologize to you readers. No, we didn't forget about the contest, far from it. It's just that there are protocols in this sort of thing, and when I logged in Friday after midnight last week and randomed up five winners a couple of challenges arose. First, there was this little thing called the Gamepro.com relaunch, which meant that the verification on the Gamepro side of things that's normally a breeze to get done, didn't get done, and in fact Arturis didn't get back to me until today. Secondly, once we did get the winners verified, it turned out that the first FIVE had neglected to fill out account information in whole (I'm looking at you teh2Dgamer) or in part. So it took some more tries with the magical omgRPG Dice of Randomocity, until we came down to the lucky five. Congrats to you all.

Congrats to AdamWii, Brickis, lpjz08, mfentress, & spunnups. Let's hope you don't flunk out of the Evil Academy.

To claim your prize, email omgRPGemail@gmail.com confirming your Name and Shipping address by 9/05/08. If we don't hear from you by then, we will give away your prize to someone a little more attentive.

Well SHO, technically the more contests you enter the better a chance you have of winning. However, if by next year you have entered all the omgRPG contests and still not one a damn thing, I will personally send you out a "Biggest Loser" t-shirt. :)

Damn. I don't recall that being mentioned as a requirement? Did I miss something?

And way to close my tag. Clearly I've proven myself a competent individual.

So far we have a 2 out of 5 success rate on winners emailing to claim their prizes, so unless the tide shifts in the next two days, you may very well find a pleasant surprise on Friday.
