The raiding elite, mounted upon progression egos that cause the Traveler's Tundra Mammoth's to look up, have been running into Naxx and wiping like so many unbuffed Horde in Wintergrasp vs. that one Shaman that just won't die! Are we simple here? I browse the WoW forums and all I see are how many bosses so and so have killed in Naxx when no one can seem to survive a wave of trash on my server!
Making the transition from a RP Server to a PVE server was a bit of a shock to my system to begin with. Apparently if you claim to have had the mother of your trade channel buddy perform oral sex on you, it is totally ok to say so on a PVE Server. I don't think we would have heard the end of it on an RP Realm. On an RP realm if your name consists of two words mashed together it's a life altering event causing the bulk of the server to /report as one, but oh no, not on these so called normal realms. Anarchy is the law of the land, and God help me when I told them I wanted my red drake for "RP purposes".
Maybe the RP crowd is more efficient at raiding, than these low pop PVE types. I get the distinct feeling that I'm dealing with a much younger crowd here, what with all the oral sex jokes and the Darkleon hate, and can only imagine that the early bedtimes and moms knocking out your power cable while vacuuming gets in the way of raid progression. Maybe I just never saw the pre-Kara progression, being a Blood Elf, I was busy sniffing my way through Barrens Chat while true pioneer tanks came to know and love that view of Malchezaar's crotch.
I'm so used to everyone having done it all before, that now in this new expansion there just isn't anyone to look up to yet. Sure there are some Obsidian Slayers running around, but that's really it. People seem so afraid of the Naxx content, and why? Everyone, everywhere else is breezing through this stuff. Why can't we?
Are people afraid to get their feet wet on your server too?
