It had been a long day for Gemini. She was so glad to be home. The day at school could not have dragged on any slower. She gazed out of her bedroom window at the setting sun. She was always amazed at the beauty nature possessed. Gemini could feel her tense body slowly relax and accept the warmth the setting sun. It was time for her to take a shower and get ready for her real day to begin. For when the sun set was when Gemini really came alive. It was time to go out on the town.
Above is the first post I ever made on a little site called Gaia Online. Oh yes, I was a Gaian. I cannot say that I still am, and I had not logged in to my account for over a year or more. Logging back in to snatch that little tid bit sent a wave of memories rushing through me. I used to spend so much time refreshing the page, hoping someone had responded to my posts, giddy as the stories progressed, taking my character with it...
Gaia Online is, as they say about themselves, a text-based online hangout, incorporating social networking, forums, gaming and a virtual world.
Now, Gaia Online is coming out with an MMO called zOMG!
Gaia is recruiting Beta testers for zOMG! It runs like most MMOs: Fighting monsters, collecting and upgrading items, different zones to play in and, of course, other players to do all this with. It is a flash based game, so there is no downloading required.
The main original Gaian aspects of the game I see are the activities and events. You can play mini games, dance, watch movies and do much more in this online community.

I am going to try and get in to the Beta myself so I can see more of what this is about. Look for a review on it soon!
