Yesterday I spent the day running around Azeroth collecting coins from my venerated Elders: i.e. I followed the guide I wrote up on Friday detailing how to complete the achievement To Honor One's Elders. I noticed as I traveled across Northrend that there was a nice neat order to how I went about talking to the various Elders on the continent, and figured it would be worth updating my guide to let you readers benefit from my experience. Here's what I found:
This is the order I did the quests in. I found that they flowed nicely into one another traveling East from the Western side of the continent, then going north to Storm Peaks to round it all out.
First Fly to Borean Tundra, then visit
1. Valliance Keep (outside on northwest wall)
2. Warsong Hold (outside on cliff northwest of city)
3. DEHTA
4. Transitus Shield
Next Fly to Sholozar Basin
5. Lakeside Landing
6. Rainspeaker Rapids ( northern section, next to altar of Freya)
Next Fly to Western Dragonblight
7. Star's Rest
8. Agmar's Hammer (due west of the city on a hill outside)
9. Moa'ki Harbor
Next Fly Eastern Grizzly Hills
10. Camp Oneqwah (western side of the village, make sure to stay on flying mount if you're alliance)
11. Westfall Brigade (on the road to Thor Modan)
12. Ruins of Tethys (at the top of the stairs on the southern island as you're looking at your minimap)
Next Fly to Zim'Torga in Zuldrak (or your closest flightpoint to there)
13. Zim'Torga
Next Fly to Dalaran
14. Wintergrasp (portal in when your faction controls the fortress)
Next Portal to Violet Hold
Next Fly to K3
15. K3
16. Frosthold
17.Bouldercrag's refuge
18. Camp Tanka'lo
And voila! You have visited all the Northrend Elders. Pay yourself on the back, and sit back and wait for all those Lucky Red Packets to arrive in the mail.
