This week WoW players began pitting themselves against the badasses of Icecrown with Patch 3.2's Trial of the Champion, but that wasn't everything we saw this week in World of Warcraft. Here are some of the most recent headlines that caught my eye about everyone's favorite MMO:
* Icecrown Citadel will have 31 bosses: Now this might be counting all three versions of the instance, so before you all go fainting in the isles, take a breather and read what Ghostcrawler had to say about Patch 3.3.
* Blizzcast Episode 10: This one's short enough to listen to on your lunch break, which is a change from the previous episodes, and we hear from Scott Mercer Lead WoW Encounter Designer and David Moldonado, a Game Designer on the WoW team. They talk about Patch 3.2 and what it means in the larger scope of Wrath of the Lich King, so I won't spoil it for you. Keep an ear out for the phrase "cursed Frostmourne." We'll discuss after class.
* Rumored races of Cataclysm: As we wrote yesterday, goblins and worgen are rumored to be the next playable classes being added to the game. Since I spent no less than an hour arguing this point with coworkers, I have to say that the jury is still out until next week (read: BlizzCon).
